PMH is a company with limited liability setup under German law in Aichtal, Germany. As a management holding with 40 Mio. € capital it will be the top level operative legal entity of the Putzmeister Group.
The mission of PMH is to manage the investments of the affiliates in compliance with the founder’s Karl Schlecht intentions and agreed strategies as outlined in the PM World Book (PWB) and KSF bylaws. It has been issued jointly by the PMH two shareholders and their consulting board members:
- KSF (Karl Schlecht Familienstiftung controlling 90% of the PMH voting rights) and
- KSG (Karl Schlecht Gemeinnützige Stiftung –a charitable foundation -, holding 99% PMH shares with 10 % of the voting rights
According to the Mission PMH has to foster all chances for growth of the group and secure their long-term success. Therefore PMH traditionally will reinvest its profit into the group.
This gives Putzmeister in accordance with PWB compared to others the chance to:
- act independent of short term investor profit demands
- grow continuously in line with the market – and beyond
- guarantee a high quality standard for the products and services in order to satisfy the high demands of successful customers
- be a superior employer and corporate citizen
- take care of the environment
Putzmeister Holding has at present three registered managing directors:
- Karl Schlecht,(2nd left) Founder of the Putzmeister Group
- Dr. Ralf von Baer (3rd left)
- Dr. Jürgen Tressin (right)
Besides them Günther Gaßlbauer (left) is a member of the Management Board of PMH.
This activities are separated within PMH as stated above in the three main fields of
- Business Development (directed by Dr. v. Baer)
- Human Ressource (directed by Mr. Gaßlbauer)
- Finance (directed by Dr. Tressin)
The PMH mainly uses existing resources within other units of the group to keep itself as slim as possible.
